Rafferty has made it a point in his life to remain healthy and active. He is still a regular swimmer and cyclist and is at the gym nearly five times every week. His hobbies do not only involve athletics and weight training, however, as Chesley is an ardent reader and loves to cook. Some of his favorite books include The Only Three Questions That Count, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and The Commonwealth of Thieves. Rafferty’s professional life is just as full as his private. In 2001, he began the role of Director at the marketing firm CPR Marketing in Perth, Australia. Prior to his work with CPR, Chesley Rafferty worked as a Sales Manager with Messages On Hold Australia, also located in Perth, which is the industry leader in audio marketing to customers waiting on hold. Chesley was responsible for the management of major sales executives and did so well in his position he was honored as the company’s Employee of the Year. Rafferty attended high school at Chisholm Catholic College from 1992 to 1996. He was a member of the Senior Debating Club and the school’s Student Exchange Representative to France. Chesley Rafferty also studied at Murdoch University, where he received his Bachelor of Commerce and Social Ecology in 1999. After graduating from Murdoch, Rafferty was admitted to Fremantle, Western Australia’s Notre Dame University, where he studied for his second undergraduate degree in Law. Chesley Rafferty is a regular volunteer at the charity kitchen Manna Industries. He also supports Greenpeace and Surf Life Saving Australia. He continues to reside and work in Perth, Australia.
